Gday all. Happy Monday! I had this weekend and today off thankfully. I've been working 9 hour days for the past week.. & this was my first weekend off. I've just been taking it easy. Its been really relaxing. Friday, I hung out with a couple ladies from work. Went up to hers for a smoke, & then we all went down to the boat channel & had a swim.. Still terrified of those great whites.. they're everywhere. Bull sharks as well. Its that time of year, the water is perfect for them and the food is as well. I just always hope they don't think I taste very good :) Afterwards, Kirsty and I went down to the bottle shop & picked up a couple bottles of wine, & went back to Tash's for some snacks and some girltime. It was really nice.. Once the sun set, Kirsty and I came back to mine & I made up a vegetarian dinner for us both. We finished our bottle, and decided we wonder down to the local pub, it was pretty late, but figured it may be entertaining since it was a Friday night & all. All that we discovered was that men were stupid, YES even here in paradise. Ha. The band was pretty decent, quite "jammy", & I was able to catch up with a few friends, which was nice.
Saturday I slept in, talked to my mamma, then fixed myself a really nice omelet with red & green capsicum, mushrooms, spinach, onion & zucchini, then a nice soy smoothie to top it off with banana, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, chia seeds, kale, LSA, kiwi & some apple juice.
It was really nice since I have been getting up at 730 am everyday & just shoving enough in my mouth to keep me going until Sue feeds me at work :) The rest of my day was spent relaxing, & Jess let me borrow her car so I could get out of the house, & go to the supermarket to get a few things. I ended up purchasing quite the accessory ensemble, bought a really nice 100% hemp hat with silk threading & a bag that isn't too far off from matching perfectly. I visited my good friend Box, who was one of the guys who worked down at the Sport & Rec Camp where I stayed in the cabins the last time I lived here in Lennox. He looks after me & has become to be quite the "uncle" figure. Lovely man.
Anyways, - I took a hike up to the point with my hula-hoop & spent just around an hour up there hooping. It was really amazing, the view is spectacular.. theres a really large landing at the top of the headland which is perfect & no one was really up there.
After returning home I thought dinner sounded really nice, so I whipped up a curry with brown rice, a really nice sauce, different spices & such with a little bit of every raw veggie I could find, & threw a bit of tofu in as well.
Saturday night was spent with a friend, & meeting a few new friends.. which leads into what I spent my Sunday doing as well :)
Sunday was a perfect day to sleep in & then go to a friends for a BBQ. The heat outside was really scorching, I'd say about 30 degrees Celsius, which is like 90 something F. It was a good day to spend inside watching movies & having good conversation with some really lovely people. Had lunch, dinner & breakfast with them.. & then returned home early afternoon today.
My last day off & then BACK TO WORK! Had lunch here, & then was off to the surfclub cafe (on my day off) for a BMF- which is a berry mango frappe. It has frozen raspberries, blueberries, strawberries & mango blended together with apple juice. SO YUM. Then me, Jesse, & Julia went and sat by the lake with the peace pipe. Thats when I saw Ivan, who lives and owns the Sport & Rec Camp. I was able to catch up with her which was really refreshing, and she's going to try to sort out a side job for me down at the camp. Which would be absolutely wonderful ! Afterwards, we went for swim in the surf, and I came back to mine. Fixed a sandwich with zuchini, tofu, eggplant, avocado, red capsicum and colby cheese. MMMMM. Now I'm here. typing this. Needing to write letters & do some over-due laundry!
Nothing too fancy.
I'm missing you guys so much! ESPECIALLY YOU KELSEY WEBER<3
But I'm living my dream & I don't miss The States at all ;)
stay sexy xxxxoxo

Happy New Year!
What a great state of mind I'm in. Surrounded by everything that's beautiful. We have completed another turn around the sun.
I spent my New Years Eve with my housemates at a beautiful house with lovely people.. It was laid back and pretty quiet, but we were entertained by the ongoing roar from the rest of the capetown of Byron Bay. I found out they owned 2 alpacas and almost freaked (since they are my favorite animals and all) We went down to hangout with them. It was spectacular. When the clock struck Midnight, the whole shoreline bursted with beautiful lightshow of colorful explosion. Fireworks went off in every direction. It was quite serene.
Cheers to new beginnings!
So, I told all of you guys that I would do this, so here goes nothing :)
I should probably catch most of you guys up.
I'm no longer working on the farm. It was a great experience, and it got me on my feet, but I was becoming more of personal assistant than anything. I left gracefully, because I had way better options that had been laid out before me. I now work at the surf club cafe, which is just a tiny w
hole in the wall place where you can catch some sea-side fressh, homemade, food and beverages, before or after a surf, or you could get take-away and walk across the road to Lennox Head's famous Tea-tree lake, Lake Ainsworth.
I met Jessica last time I was here in Australia, and this time it just so happened to work out that she needed someone to move in, since one of her flatmates were moving out. Turned out perfectly because I absolutely love where I live, and all of the people who live here as well <3
Thought I'd give you a little bit of a tour. Its a huge timber house up on the hill. There's an amazing ocean view from basically anywhere on our wrap around veranda. We live right on the edge of a really big Nature Reserve, so there's wild-life at my fingertips! Wildlife includes dangerous things as well though. At one point we had one of the World's most deadly spiders, the funnel web make a home up in our 13 ft ceilings, so we captured it and let it outside. The mossy's are pretty full on here as well.. The most frequent are the Huntsman spiders, but they're really timid and harmless.. just rather large and quite creepy. I vowed to not kill anything so I just catch them and take them out near one of our veggie gardens. But I pretty much have some sort of spider around me at all times. While I'm sleeping, showering, eating... it doesn't matter aha.
I've met soo many amazing people, and really established so many great relationships and furthered ones that already existed. This place is so amazing and so very very magical. I'm so blessed & loving every minute of my life.
Oh yeahhhh.. I forgot! I haven't eaten meat in over a month! Officially a vegetarian & loving it. Fresh food allll the way. Feeling oh so good <3
Missing people so much. Hope everyone is doing well.
